Hello, I'm Philip Austin, founder of Cornerstone Notary and Signing Services. 

I believe every person deserves to be treated with Trust, Dignity, and Respect. This simple belief is the foundation of Cornerstone Notary and Signing Services and guides every appointment I accept.

Before founding Cornerstone, I spent more that fifty years in a profession where responsibility, precision, and earning the trust of others were not optional and could never be taken for granted. Those same standards became the foundation of Cornerstone and continue to guide every notary appointment today.

Documents matter, but I never lose sight of the fact that each document represents a person, a family, or an important moment in someone's life. Whether we meet at your home, business, or another convenient location, my goal remains the same—to provide professional mobile notary services delivered with courtesy, clear communication, and careful attention to detail.

The Cornerstone Story

The name Cornerstone was chosen with great purpose, long before this business began. Years earlier, I gave the same name to my aviation company because it reflected the foundation upon which I strive to live my life.  A cornerstone is the foundation upon which everything else is built, and for me, that foundation is my faith in Jesus Christ.  It is the compass that guides my decisions, my relationships, and the way I believe people should be treated. When the time came to establish Cornerstone Notary and Signing Services, the Cornerstone name carried that meaning forward, along with the values that guided me then and continue to guide me today.  

My professional standards were shaped over a career spanning decades in aviation, a profession where preparation, accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail were essential. Just as important was learning that professionalism includes how you treat the people who place their trust in you. Those lessons stayed with me and became part of the standards I brought to Cornerstone and the way I approach every appointment today.

The inspiration for Cornerstone Notary and Signing Services came from watching my own parents struggle to find a reliable, trustworthy mobile notary during important moments in their lives. They needed someone who would come to them, treat them with respect, and understand that the documents they were signing represented far more than paperwork. 

That experience stayed with me and became the beginning of Cornerstone's mission.
